Default 92 Civic Wiring Help

I have been lurking for a while and finally decided to join. Anyway, I had a 94 Civic DX that I totalled about a month ago. I removed the engine and installed into a 92 Civic LX with a bad engine. After getting it running, I noticed that when I had the lights off and hit the brakes, the parking lights would come on and the dash lights would come on as if I had the turned on the parking lights. If I turn on the headlights, I see no difference except the brake lights are really dim looking when the brake light is depressed. I am almost certain it is a ground problem but not sure what grounds and where they all are. The wiring diagrams that I have from my service manual are horrible and do not help at all. Thanks in advance for the help.

I doubt it's just the grounds. You've got some kind of wire crossed somewhere.

Appreciate the reply but I figured it out this morning. I had rear bulb that evidently shorted out when I was test driving the car. I was very surprised that it was just that but it works great now.
