Presidential Detail JDM 1997 Red Civic AMAZING OUTCOME!!!
ok to start off i have been detailing for roughly 2 years now. I worked in a very high end detail shop locally in town called Trusted Detailing where we detail high end vehicles and do presidential details on them...ok i bought this car from some guy over in seattle,wa that obviously doesnt know how to wax his cars or wash them...here are some before pics and then come the after....keep in mind these pictures were takin over a year ago and so there are some weird angles sorry guys...
here is the day i got the car what it looked like before i washed it..

and here is the engine bay pic....sorry for quality but you can see it

here are a couple more of the outside...

here you can see it has holograms...

AFTER pics....color got a lot more depth and changed color to a bit darker it has a 12 stage buff...

Guess it looks good..hard to tell from pics...but shouldnt name your thread Presidential Detail...seeing how we already have Presidential DetailED who makes consistent threads showcasing his work...wouldnt want it to get confused with yours.

I'll tell you the same thing they always tell me. Get a better camera. A G10 or DLSR- people are very picky about clear, sharp, consistent photos of the car's progression when it comes to this sort of thing. I see the work you did, and trust me its a great job, but some of your photos also make you think there's not much more than silicone on the car.
So if you're ever worried about people not appreciating your work, its the pics not you. How does your process work? What tools and compounds/polishes/waxes do you use? Do you use a buffer or orbital or is it all by hand?
