i just bought this van off of ebay and the transmission shifts kind of hard, specifically between 1st and 2nd. If you ease of the gas between the shift its not as bad, is there a transmission treatment that would remedy this or should i prepare for a newer transmission or rebuild.

 

Prepare for a replacement, J-series automatics fall apart.

 

it does have 158000 miles on it, i guess its on its way out
