Default y8 header on a b7 block

I'm trying to get my b7 running a little better untill I finish building my y8. Right now the car has a short air ram, 2.25 exhaust and test pipe, advanced the timing a bit and set the lift on the valve a little higher then stock. I have the stock b7 header on right now. I what to know if I change to the stock y8 header, will it have any gains or will my bottom end suffer? I'm not sure if there is any difference between them. I don't think there is anyway to mod the exhaust, Right? I know if there are any gains they will be minimal but every little bit helps. I was also thinking of putting on a fpr but I don't know if that would have any effect on it right now.

Also will a y8 oil pan fit on a b7? mine has a small leak.
