3 unclear questions about EF rear brakes
Car: 1991 civic si
trying to install 1991 integra rear brakes
I searched and found many great links, but I still have some questions:
1) Any tips for taking of the TORX bolt?
- any help to heat it up with map gas?
- will the head of the bolt easily strip?
2) to remove DA e-brake cables do i have to lower the gas tank?
if so, how many bolts.... location/size of bolts?
3) do I use stock EF brake lines?
4) Which bolt is it that I "should not" remove on the RTA of the EF or else it will mess up by toe?
Thanks, Charlie Moua

1. You can just swap trailing arm. Every one I've heard snaps the torq bolts. Do not need to remove torx bolts if doing swap, plus all the disc brake components need to swap over as well, handbrake brackets etc.
2. You do not need to remove the gas tank at all. There are two bolts near the gas tank that hold the cables. Remove the bolts and you can pull the cables out. Just a suggestion if you do not have a gear wrench buy one (10mm)
3. you can use the stock steel lines but need to use the da rear rubber line.
4. The one under neath the body. Basically a three point triangle, can remove the top bolt, the bottom bolt and the front one, the arm will be free at this point.
5. Use the DA trailing arms but do not use the da components that tie to the body or it will mess up the camber, toe.
I've done this swap on a hatch and a crx. Never dropped the tank at all.

Thanks.... more questions:
1) which one is the Torque bolt? ..... please clearify so we are on the same page.
the one I'm talking about is the one that is 17mm bolted upward and is closest to the front of the car. From what I can tell, I have to remove that bolt in order for the DA RTA to come off...
2) just to confirm... to REMOVE the DA e-brake cables and to INSTALL e-brake cables to the EF, each time you do not need to drop the fuel tank correct?

the 2 bolts per e-brake cable is a 12mm not a 10mm.
no you do NOT need to drop the tank or do anything with the gas tank, its just a little tight to fish the cables out after removing the bolts that hold the e-brake cables down.
if you are doing the "spindle swapping method" from the DA spindles over to the civic trailing arm, you need to swap the DA e-brake cable over also.
do not remove the UCA, LCA or Compensator arm(toe adjuster). keep them in tack. no need to remove these, just the trailing arm.

thanks guys... i went to the junk yard and pulled 2 set of DA and 1 set from EG EX....
but all of the cables were in really bad shape so I just cut them.
