Default hey guys, dumb question but i gotta know.

my friend told me to take the cover off the intake box to expose the filter and it will run better but i feel a better pull with it on and i feel like its robbing the filter of air. tell me what the truth is? thanks.

Removing the lid adds noise, not power.

I don't think it would really make a noticeable power loss, unless you are at the track...

I did a test a while back with my friend with a turbo D16. He made 190whp. anyway, I ran him with everything bone stock and i pulled him about 2cars. once i took the lid out and ran just straight filter, he took me about a good car.

I have a revhard now. The turbo sits a inch away from the oil filter relocation fitting. RcautoWorks is making me a custom top mount tubular for dirt cheap. I think they have done one other one similar for the S2000.

I picked up a blown F20 Thursday. I should have it sleeved next month and then after that buy all the internals. I'm also going with Kpro. I just want around 450-480.

Its smoking randomly. I did a compensation test and it had low numbers but all the same and its acting weird. I wanted a built motor any ways... just now Ill have to bust my *** with some over time and get this done sooner then I thought.
