i was told by my master mechanic neighbor that my 84 crx needs either new prechamber valves or to clean them up. atleast 1 of the prechambers isnt going down all the way and the fuel is igniting and jumping across the manifold (according to the neighbor. he is not around for a while now, and i need this fixed asap. so if anyone has a tip for how to do this job, that would be great cause i cant find **** on this anywhere, cant find a diagram, a diy site, cant find parts i mean seriously, i called the dealers and they dont carry parts for this, so im like wtf!!! almost feel like giving honda the finger for not carrying parts for their own cars

If I remember right you can just remove the rocker for the aux valves then replace the rocker springs with the what is used on the Si. I'm not really sure what you do about the carb tuning though and the CVCC system will be disabled obviously. What is your car doing exactly?

 

the crx is misfiring and it wont idle, i have cleaned up the prechamber valves and the port, and tried to adjust the throttle nut to make it idle higher, cant get it to stay on without the foot on the gas. other than that, the car is really quick and handles great
