my cousins ef battery is draining constantly when car is off. someone said the door open sensor is draining it when the door is closed. i found the sensor can i cut it? or what do i do with it?
Is the seatbelt light going off, indicating that a door is open when its really closed this is important. I had this problem you may have to adjust them if this is the case. I had to shim the inside plastic clip and move it out because the plastic had worn.
Don't cut it, it may short out. Just unplug it and the plastic will insulate the wire end from shorting against the inside of the door. Good luck.
