How does a car get tagged with a "non-repairable" certificate?

 

i was gonna buy this till i saw the non repairable tiltle thing
thats sad! i would be all over this if the title was just salvage

 

I don't understand much about vehicle titles but what exactly is a non repairable title? The CA DMV website wasn't much help.

I'd like to know this as well. Especially with the seller saying he's pretty flexible on the price.

totally. no clue why it was ever made non repairable, no structure damage is done from what i can see. talk about a cheap way to bump the value of an itr swapped ls floating around out there

 

I would venture to say that its a strong possibility. It may be something to really look into because it may not be that difficult at all.

 

Man I would definately pick that up as a track car if it was local.

 

Wait so it could it be possible to make it to a salvage title back in cali or no? Also from what I've been able to gather in about a whiles worth of reading that a non repairable title is where you can only part out the car and can't drive it on the street? Can anyone confirm this. Thanks!
