best way to hook ropes to engine?

Default best way to hook ropes to engine?

what is the best way to hook up ropes to engines when you are putting them in?

i don't usually use rope. I use a tow-strap and some motorcycle tie-downs. That way I can manipulate the motor as I put it in. But I would just make sure that it stays balanced in what ever you use.

yea i am using tow ropes, just wondering where you place them, im having trouble getting it to move enough to get the rear mount hooked up

Ya that mount is the hard one. I usually put the bracket on the motor and set it in. Use the weight of the motor to get it to go around the bushings.

oh i see what your saying, i have the rubber part bolted to the chassis, but all i have to put on is that bracket.
