Tranny upshifts between 4 - 5k RPM after timing belt & radiator replacement?
I have a 95 Civic Coupe EX w/ auto 150K+ miles, and it was running great until it returned back from the shop for timing belt service and radiator & thermostat replaced.
During the timing belt service, they also replaced the valve cover gasket, camshaft & crankshaft seals, & waterpump.
It used to upshift smoothly between 2300-2500 RPM, but after returning from the shop, it revs to 4000 - 5000 RPM before upshifting to next gear?!?
Any ideas what they might have screwed up on? I think maybe they disconnected the ATF cooler line and lost some ATF fluids that didn't get
refilled? I got the ATF fluid flush less than 1 yr ago. They said the ATF fluid looks clean.
Thanks for your help.
