Engine cuts out at 6000 RPM JDM H22A Automatic
I have an off-road project vehicle that is geared very low. I hit 6000 RPMs in 3rd gear and it shuts down. From what I know, the rev limiter is fuel cutoff and should hit at 7000 RPMs or so. This seems to be electric cutoff.
I am wondering if there is a speed limiter, and how to de-activate it. At 40MPH, the engine thinks it is going 150 MPH due to the gearing.
