Default wtf....brake question.

How much do you guys think is reasonable for a shop to install *my* parts: calipers, pads, rotors, wheel bearings?

One shop wants $389 and the other wants $220 before I mentioned calipers.

Does that seem remotely reasonable? Because everyone is telling me more than likely the wheel bearings will need to be replaced b/c the pressing will ruin them or w/e so you may as well replace them.

I would guess no more than 2 hours per side.

Shops usually have a two tiered labor rate system
One where they supply the parts (and realize their profit with the parts sales)
One where you supply the parts and they make their profit off the labor.

One way or the other, they are going to make their profit.
Consider yourself lucky. Shops charge an average of $75. / hour around here, some $90.

If you have the right tools, replacing these is relatively easy. Otherwise i think that price isn't bad at all.
