Apparently us Cali guys are WEAK and our cars are not worthy enough to compete in the East Coast.

nah, a bunch of you cali guys were quick to jump up and say you would come over here to race if Jake put a big money outlaw race together.

well he did and now its crickets from 99.99% of the same cali guys.

whats even more amazing though is the fact he drove out to cali for a 300. race and they whooped all your asses. and now your all afraid to come over here for a chance at 5k lol

Haha it was all in good fun , but I am speaking the truth.

Here is why I feel that way.

I put up a post many months ago in which a lot of people from all around the country said they would come out to race for $5000 all motor shootout.

So I put in all MY OWN hard work and MY OWN time to get the race going, work with the track, work with the event organizer , set up paypal account , set up bank accounts all to make this race happen.

Its a race for the racers, designed by the racers. If anyone wishes to read the entire thread you can click on the link in my sig.

So after I put in ALL that work , NO ONE puts the money where their keyboards are.
So if people really didn't want to step up then they should have kept their mouths shut in the first place instead of saying they would race and then not show up.
And that goes for people all over the country , not just cali.
I just assumed since cali guys were so vocal at the end of last year that they would step their game up and come out.

Now I realize its a long journey out here, after all I made the trip with tim by ourselves last year. That's why I am working with a few guys from cali to try and help them with the expenses on coming out to race. I am trying my best to accomodate them so it is easier for them to make their trip. I respect the guys that are trying to come out here and race, plain and simple.

As far as the others that choose to talk **** from behind their computers instead of showing up all I have to say is - COME SHUT ME UP THEN.

 

lol cali is weak. thats why there hardparking scene is so big cause most there cars are slow.

Why is this girl talking sh*t about Cali racers on YouTube? If it was all in good fun, then why say "but I am speaking the truth"? Obviously you meant what you said. None of us Cali heads ever said anything bad about the East Coast, nor did we ever say we have the quickest all motor cars. You'll give us your credit card huh? Ummm....that sounded rather childish if you ask me. No one needs your credit card to realize how big of a fool you've just made yourself look like. I guess thats how the whole East coast camp rolls huh? "We're the east coast, so we have the right to talk **** about Cali." Do yourself a favor and stay away from California racetracks.

 

I'm just saying...give credit where it's deserved. Us Cali guys may not be the fastest, but we do our best to contribute to the sport compact drag racing industry.

I BUSTED MY *** to make a race happen in which A LOT OF PEOPLE FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY said they would come to.

I took their words as their agreement to race. So I BUSTED MY *** for months to get an event like this to happen.
Then no one decided to put their money up.

So am I a little bitter ? Yes.

Why do I say I speak the truth ? Because I am. Over 30 people said they would come to race and now noone is putting their money up.

So when someone asks if I want to create a little hype around the event , I said sure why not.

Its funny that I am trying to help fiinance some of the Cali RACERS trip out here. Just to get them to race.

So do yourself a favor. . . Go build a car, AND COME OUT HERE AND SHUT ME UP . . .

I was already at the CALI tracks last year , Now its your turn

you may do your part but dont come on here and other places and start sayin **** about how cali is the best yadda yadda. This is a put up or shut up event. Tons of people were all over this when Jake started it and now its like nothing. Everyones puss'n out with it yet they were all interenet badass's a few months ago

 

I never once discredited the fast cars out there on the west coast. Never, not once.
I have A LOT of friends in Cali that race. You can ask any of them. I do my due diligence to help them go as fast as they can because I RESPECT FAST CARS NO MATTER WHAT SIDE OF THE COUNTRY THEY ARE FROM

I am talking **** to the people that - AS MENN - Said they would show up for this race. AND THEN DONT . . . Thats being cowardish.

People should have just said - no thank you in the beginning.

If you cant respect the amount of work I did to get this race off the ground then thats on you.

I'm trying to bring some spotlight to the ALWAYS OVERSHADOWED all motor scene by creating a shootout. To make that happen I need racers. Not people to say they will race and then flake out.
Again that is directed at people ALL OVER THE COUNTRY

 

Alright. Well if it was all for hype and fun then lets leave it at that. After all, we race because of the passion for the sport. I guess there's really no need to bring tensions to the table between the East and West.

We all need each other to make our sport survive. Especially the all motor scene.
Thats One of the reasons I wanted to pull a race like this off. Give the all motor guys ALL OVER THE COUNTRY some of the credit and spotlight they deserve.

I apologize if I pissed anyone off, I figured if "fake beef" can sell CDs maybe it can get us some more deposits for the race haha

I live in louisiana, but i'll rep the east coast..

 

the only thing i could say about the east coast is i cant stand the accents. jk the larger side of my family lives over there . all aside, congrats on holding it down for the east coast. im sure you'll eventually find someone from over here to give you fellas a run for ya money.

I was getting a little scared there for a second...ish was gonna pop off! lol.

I wish I had the cash, skills and knowledge to build something nice...not quite there yet I guess...

There seems to be way more support in the east coast, I was at the Fontana event the last time it went on, not this last month but in the summer, the turnout was kind of sad, there were hardly any spectators. :-(

 

some people will just never understand the whole point here, but I do. Many want to "talk the talk" without actually "walking the walk." If you run your mouth and not your car, don't be butthurt when someone calls you out on it. This 2fastGSR guy basically earned his right to talk by actually walking the walk. Sure it aint cheap. Sure it takes a lot of time. But if you can't pay you can't play!

With all this hype I can't wait to see the results from 10/3-4!!! I may even fly in there with my cowboy hat to check it out in person!

 

2fastGSR whether on the eastcoast or westcoast is doing somehting big for the sport. not many all motor honda's get respect in the DR world and hes trying to gather all the NA guys out for a big money event why not help it out instead of bad mouthing it? well BUMP cause i would love to watch this event go down.
