AZ 1995 (EG) Honda Civic hatchback, 5-speed manual, $2750
1995 (EG) Honda Civic DX hatchback, 5-speed manual, $2500 with steel wheels, $2750 as pictured
Edit: price dropped to $2500 with steelies and older tires instead of the VX wheels/new tires.
Selling my mechanically excellent daily driver, a completely stock Honda Civic 5-speed with 211k miles. Though it may not be the prettiest car in the world, it is without a doubt the best commuter car ever made. The light weight (2200 lbs, or 500 lbs less than a current Civic) and torquey engine means that it gets better mileage than a 2009 Civic, with mileage rivaling a Prius on the highway. This car gets 400+ miles to the 12-gallon tank. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country.
Though it's a bit too nice for a full tear-down, this might make a good shell for a race car, given that half the suspension bushings have been done and it really is completely rust free aside from the door ding. I'm happy to supply additional pics.
Obviously I've been maintaining this car with the intention of driving it another 200k miles. If I had the space, I'd keep it. Unfortunately, I currently have 3 other cars, plus a truck and a race car. Over the last several years, this car has saved enough gas on my 50mi/day commute (versus driving my truck) to completely pay for itself, including insurance and registration. The car is completely clean, top to bottom. Included with the car is a folder with all available receipts and records.
Cash only, price is firm and fair given the extensive maintenance history and brand new tires.

This weekend I repaired the driver's seat. Now you have no reason not to buy this clean, classic hatch.

i'm interested and would be willing to drive to pick it up. Let me know if you still have it. Even more detailed pics would be appreciated. Some of the engine bay too.

Happily -- PM me your email address and I'll send you what I've got; I'll go grab some engine bay shots tomorrow and post those up too.

Battery is less than 1 year old, still under full-replacement warranty.

Radiator, cap and overflow replaced in 2005. All heater and radiator hoses less than a year old.

New MAP sensor and fuel filter.

The proud and mighty D15B7.

Factory vacuum routing diagram on the hood, if you're into that kind of thing.

Ahh, how soothing it is to drive a car that never breaks down.
I can drop the price to $2500 if you don't want the VX wheels/tires -- I'll put the original silver steelies back on for you. Otherwise, price is FIRM.
Buy your little cousin a car that will last her through college! You know she'd appreciate this much more than some lame gift certificate for Christmas...
