Default B18C Starting Problem

Hey guys have a problem starting my engine.Starter is new battery is new wiring is correct.Once it starts it runs great but the problem now is not starting. When i try to start it the dash lights turn on but when i turn the key all i get is a weird sound from the fuse box and main relay. My friend says it might be the main relay or the coil inside the distribuitor. PLEASE HELPppppppppp Thanks

yes you have to take out the internal coil. i took mine out and soldered wires from the wires in the dizzy to the external coil and it workx nice.
fyi i made a bracket and hid my coil under the intake manifold

There is an issue with MSD caps becuase I used one for quite a while and then Car seemed like it didn't want to run. One day I stalled in the middle of an intersection in the turn lane. After days of troubleshooting, I put the stock cap back on and it fired right up. I think the MSD cap electrodes get spaced or they get covered in a substance nonconducive to electron flow. Never had a problem with any of the MSD coils though. Now I run a stock cap, msd rotor, and some autozone internal coil. Seems Fine!

Yea same thing happened to my bro. you have to use the msd rotor as well and keep it clean cause it has almost double the charge to create burnt electron dust crap. its common.
