Ok so here's the story, I just picked up a 97 HX coupe from the pound about a week ago. The car used to be auto and was converted to manual. I hope that helps explain things. I noticed the trans mount wasn't bolted onto the chassis.

This is the mount can came with the car.


The mount was on the trans, but there was no bracket to connect the mount to the chassis.
I went to a shop today and they said someone must've gotten the wrong mount or something. I got this mount and bracket from them.

This is reverse of what I thought I had to get. The bracket is mounted onto the trans and the mount should've gone onto the chassis, but the problem is the mount doesn't line up with the chassis at all.

Here's the mounts in comparison. The one that came with the car is on the left, the one I bought is on the right.


I'm really stumped. Both mount up to the trans right, but it doesn't bolt up to the chassis. Can anybody help me out here? Which mounts/brackets am I suppose to buy?
