AEM Short Ram intake
I am wondering if the AEM short ram intakes have a bracket that allows the pipe to be secured to the engine compartment with a bolt. Does anyone have a picture of it? The intake that i have right now is one of those cheap kinds without proper mounting brackets. I am thinking about purchasing the AEM polished short ram intake for my 1994 integra ls. Also, will this intake come with a CARB# stamped on it?
Thanks a lot.

My oldschool AEM CAI came with carb stickers .. sorry i converted mine to a ram so i have no mount bracket ... the clamped sleeve pretty much holds mine in place.... i dont think the short rams come with anything to bolt it to the frame
On my old DC DAC, it apparently came with some sort of mounting bracket that attached to the frame. It doesn't connect directly to the intake itself, but it bolts to the frame of the car, then this ledge type deal holds the intake arm above the AC lines, etc below. I suppose its a novel idea. Too bad the bastards at the shop I bought mine from never told me about the bracket and didn't bother to install it, costing me $600 later on to replace the AC lines that had been worn through.
I had it on my 94 gsr and it came with a bracket to bolt onto the car...
It extends right off the intake itself.
