im going to be replacing the rack end bushing in my 91 crx dx. is the only part that i need is just the rack end bushing. i read something bout a lock washer? i think number 21 http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...13SH20_B33.gif
is there anything else that i need. or any pointers or tricks that i need to know. ill also have my haynes manual to help. any help would be appreciated ..thanks

take the rack out, its overall easier to do it this way.

This is the best way to go its not hard to rebuild a rack and pinion, also there are a few other parts you may need if you go this way though
1. pinion seal 7$
2. bellows (these are blown on every rack ive seen) $30 for 2
3. inner tie's (this would be a good time to chance ) $90 for 2
