It's a 92 CX hatch, pictured in the center is a black box with 2 wires coming out. I thought it might be part of the evap but you can see the evap canister in the pic behind it, then thought it might be for cruise control but that sits up front on the drivers side so I'm at a loss. Car's getting a K swap so should it stay or should it go.

 

i have a 93 cx and i have nothing there, ive never seen that? have you traced the wires to see where they go?

 

It's my buddies car, he's going to trace it out tonight. I was thinking it was something aftermarket but the mounting of it looks factory, however the line coming off the left is taped and zipped tied the wire loom. If anyone has any ideas please chime in.

Yeah, def looks like a cruise control box(line on right should go to TB). Rip it out.

 

Is it? I was looking through the factory service manual and everything looked to be up in the front drivers side for cruise.

 

Looks like the a toyota one lol. They have always been on the drivers side by the shock mount on all my hondas as well, never there. So It is just my guess that it's cruise but it could be anything I guess.
