Painting fiber glass fenders

So I have a pair of fenders that I want to put on y car. Right now they are white, they are fiber glass. I was wondering if I can just spray paint them black or is this not a good idea?

prime and paint em.. if theyre new, you shouldnt have to worry about sanding too much.
