ok guys its getting annoying now. i'll be driving and i go to pop vtec just because and it doesn't always work. Yes, my car is warmed up; Yes, my Oil level is good; Yes, the Oil pan is fine. I'm running out of ideas anybody else got anything?
i searched a while back and only found preludes with this issue but never got me anywhere. now i'm trying to see what you guys think.
i'm gonna take off my solenoid and clean it later today if not tomorrow

You're running a 1.8 with a dual stage intake manifold on an ECU with ignition and fuel maps for a 1.6L with a single stage intake manifold. This shouldn't be hard to figure out.
He also never mentioned if he is even using the stock dual stage manifold, or if he has any CEL's. No one here is a mind reader, so all we can do is guess.
