That was a joke helmet he thought up and wore to take blame for blowing the race at Indy. As funny as it is, I'd be one of the last people you'd see wear that thing

i've been thinking about switching to AGV from shoei, and this helmet might just put me over the fence!

i want to try out the agvs myself. none of the local dealers carry them, but from what i hear there very nice.

i still think shoei's are the best.

While helmet shopping about a year ago I tried on helmets from all the major manufacturers. AGVs are nice helmets, but never fit my head quite right (pressure on my forehead). Shoei fit pretty well, but once I had the Arai it was just love. Arai>Shoei>AGV>Suomy/Shark/ect etc etc...

i tried on a whole bunch of helmets at motogp. the shark liners were too scratchy, and the only shoei that really fits me well is the tz-r (which i've bought for my last 2 helmets). the arais don't fit me at all. the AGVs i tried fit me very well and the liner on them was the best by leaps and bounds

I have 2 Arai's (rr4) and a AGV (gp tech)... The AGV is nice, but I'd take the Arai over the AGV anyday...the face opening is much shorter than the Arai (which is really noticable), and the shell is huge compared to Arai

i love the arai quality, just dont like how the visors go on and off, same with the soumys.

i like how shoei does there visors, i think the rf-1000 and x-11 are at the top.
