Hi fellow Sollers,

I just got a 94 Del Sol VTEC, my first car ....However, today while locking the d/s door using a Key from outside, the key got stuck inside. The key seems to be jammed in it and the cylinder seemed so tight that If i were to turn the key anymore, it would brake something inside the lock.
Luckily, since I had another key, I used it to access the d/s door panel, which I opened up and I managed to unlock the door. However, in the process, the rod linkage which connects itself the white lock cylinder kinda thingy are now disconnected
Now, i cant even lock the door. If I manage to reconnect both the pieces, I guess it would solve the problem, but the problem is how? I tried doing it with my hand but its too cramped in there to get any success. I dont want to approach a garage/mechanic since I cant afford it being a grad. student .
Any help as to how to fix this problem would be much appreciated. This is my first post and I hope I haven't violated any forum rules.
