Rock Crawling in CT
I recently visited CT...where my family and best friend lives. My best friend has been rock crawling for quite some time and competes in a rock crawling series in PA every summer.
Here are some pics from a private course owned by one of his friends. Both buggy's were built by Clayton Offroad Engineering and cost approx 60k.
Adam's "rubicon" started life in 2002 as a brand new stock Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Since, its been rolled and abused to the point where it is today...
Interestingly enough...the chassis has less than 8k total miles on it.
This buggy was built by Clayton at Clayton Offroad. Its powered by a 4.0 Jeep motor, atlas transfer case, rock crusher axles, rear steer etc. In its class, he finished 1st in www.rcrocs.com
