Okay so maybe you could give me some advise. I am currently working on building up my 1993 Integra. I am keeping the stock power plant (B18A) and would like to keep my tranny (YS1). My suspension is fully built from a Full-Race traction bar, LCA's, coilovers, and all new bushings. My motor will built bored and sleeved and run at 9.8:1 CR. But this is far from a mild motor as all internals are being upgraded. Now here in lies my issue. I will be running NA for the first year or so untill I can afford a decent turbo kit. I know nothing when it comes to gearing. I would like to buy a set of gears that will work good for both appliications. Any advise?

If low boost, you would probably get away with using a similar setup to All Motor (e.g 4.785 or 4.928 Final Drive).

If high boost, then it would be a different path unfortunately.

I actualy plan on running around 16psi. I am hoping to see horse power in the 450-500 band.

With the higher power, you may need longer gearing, just depends on your overall setup and what is required.

The closest/longest we have is the 1.430 3rd and 1.100 4th gear.

is the pro series 1st gear 2.786 straight cut (for b16) include both 1st gear on main and counter shaft to achieve that ratio? can it be bought separately?(ie. just the 1st gear coz my current 1st gear is 3.070 Mfactory)

It consists of straight cut 1st & 2nd, mainshaft & countershaft. You cannot use them with any other gear, they must be used together as a set.

The K-Series gear set is still be tested at the moment, no eta yet.

Getting an error trying to PM you...

i have a b18c thats built for 600whp+ but i have it capped at 386whp due to a stock drivetrain. i dont want shorter gears since all it will do is spin, but i do want stronger gears and synchros. do you offer anything thats not a shorter gear? whats the difference between the metal plate lsd and helicoil?

i do street drive this.

sanman000719: Price for the full pro synchro gear set is $2999.95 + shipping. This includes a new mainshaft, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

EG6 Love: Our pro synchro gear set is not too short, so should be suitable for your needs. For drag/street, I would recommend the Helical as it is maintenance free and designed to handle your power level. The Metal Plate LSD is more for circuit use.

do you offer a complete kit for the synchro gearset? ie. 1-4 gears and mainshaft. carbon/moly synchros, lsd, bearings and final drive? if so please let me know. its for a drag car that will occasionally see street duty. i want to have a transmission that will stand up to 600hp-800hp safely. thanks
