Just looking for another opinion...I have an auto. tranny APX4 that shifts hard in all gears at 164k miles. I've adjusted the link cable and changed to genuine Honda fluid. I was thinking of buying a tranny pressure gauge and running the tests described in the shop manual, but I don't know what I'd do if it were bad.

It's hard to find a used tranny near here that doesn't have more miles on it than mine.

Does anyone has any ideas or tests that I haven't tried?
