i need help making sure what im gonna buy is a zc head the guy says its stamped with a pm3-18 is this a zc also would it say anything on the cam gear for iding?

If it was DOHC do you think he would have trouble identifying it? Come now...

 

you have been on honda-tech for a while now and have probably figured out that some people still cant figure out letters from numbers yet

 

lol its a sohc head

 

some people think they know it all. to the op your head will either have a pm3-1,pm3-3,pm3-4 or pm3-7 stamped on the front of the head with either a 88,89,90,91 stamp on the right side of the other stamp stated above for a zc sohc head. these head codes are also used on a d16a6 head so your best bet is to measure the camshaft from a d16a6 or zc sohc to be certain.

 

alrite so theres no real way to tell them apart, as long as its bigger then my b2 im happy especialy for the price, the guy seems to be legit and not out to rip me off
