Default Quick question about my 97 CF5 Accord here in Misawa Japan

I just got this CF5 here in Misawa and noticed that the interior has this switch to the left of the steering wheel...it says EPS on it and can be switch to the left, middle and then the right. This is the 4WD version with the F20B. Anyone know what this is for? I tried messing with and it and never noticed any changes.

EDIT: Pics of thar down below on another post

Electronic Power Steering. You will probably notice it more when your turning the steering wheel. IIRC (-) stiffens the steering while (+) loosens it up.

yeah, that's what I thought it was, just didn't notice anything, thanks man!

Edit...well, after messing with the switch, it's a night and day difference...comes in handy!

lol...sorry guys, here are some...I'm embarrassed about the wheels though, they came with the car. I was at upgrage the other day and saw some mesh style wheels by Weds (looked like some old school ones), I might be getting those this week.

Here's the pics...

Sweet ride I like the rims as well. A set of 225/50s would look good wrapped around those.

Wow! 4WD?! Did that exist?! Or just a sticker?

Why can't the JDM Accord be sold in the US....... They just look so much cooler!

I think I would have been okay, plenty of room in the wheel well

I'll get some, but it's not that special

Sometimes I miss having a manual tranny, but then with the traffic during trips, I'm glad I got the auto

It's real...they have 4WD Fits, 4WD Scion BB (or XB I think they call it in the states).

Pretty much 4wd anything here...gotta have it with the snow here in Misawa.

If all it takes is snow I'm shocked that they haven't produced them here in Canada. We pretty much have snow 5 months of the year here. It would be nice to have some 4WD/AWD compitition vs the WRX/Subies. The New TL is AWD. I may have to look into picking one of them up....lol

yeah, that is strange...they have 4wd cars all over the place...just saw this Honda Spike with Mugen kit on it...also 4wd...it looks like a Scion Xb but a bit better.

Well, I ended up finding some cheap old Honda wheels (they were grey in color...never seen them before) that also had winter tires...only 350! I'll just worry about the summer wheels/tires next year. I still need to decide if I'm going to get the new style accord, FA5 or new style Fit before I leave here...so I can start stocking up on stuff

nah, you really can't import newer cars to the states. It has to be 25 years or older...or have someone like that company that converts the skylines...which I haven't seen any for honda...not too mention it cost about 30 grand after everything is said and done...or I import the car and tell them it's for show only and not drive it.
