+ battery cable corroded as AMF!
Capitol Honda of San Jose wants $55 + tax for a new cable. I'm always thinking of a cheap alternative(<- I would say "always" is an understatement). My plan A is to cut the battery cable end off and reconnect to the battery terminal. Plan B take my car to a car audio place and buy some cable and do the labor my self. Thanks for any advice.
or plan c, buy a generic B+ battery cable from the parts store with the cable ends already on it for around $10 and install it in about 10mins. You can also just buy a new cable end, but I would prefer a whole new cable....the corrosion tends to "wick" up the cable and by the time you're done cutting the corrosion out, its too short
