Default Brake pedal qustion on an EG

Hey, my dad has a 93 civic lx and we just some brake pads on it today, but when you push the pedal, it feels kinda soft and it travels far down. I mean the car stops great, the pedal just goes far down, which makes it kinda weird. Maybe i'm used to my car but, it just doesn't feel right.

What could it be, need a bleed? I haven't seen any leaks from master cylinder. Could it be brake booster?

Also, can i bleed just the front brakes? or do i have to do the rear drums too?

thanks

Probably air in the lines if your fluid is right. I'd bleed the fronts. The rears should be fine.
