Code 45 help!!!!!

Just got a cel on my way to class, code is 45 fuel sys to rich to lean .any help on where to start?

start checking stuff. pull the spark plugs and tell us if they are white or black or what
is there black soot on the back bumper coming out the tail pipe?
do you have a wideband?

Pull the code with an OBDII scan tool so that you know whether the code is for lean or rich.

Have to wait until this afternoon for my friend to get off work to use his scan tool, thanks for the help so far guys

autozone has a tool. you can have them scan it...
