search for info pertaining to b-series swaps and have a look at the faq section at the top of this forum. guarantee you will find lots of useful information.

just know that you have...

motor..

90-93 axles with intermidate shaft and pr4 ecu... if obd0-90-91...if converting to obd1 92-95 pr4

shift linkage...custom made to fit or aftermarket bought for EF

if you have a std civic like me you gonna need bigger knuckles because std splines for axles won't fit. get integra 90-93 or 88-91 civic or crx si or dx. no hf.

make sure to chop off front motor mount from cross memberance because it gonna be in the way.

may sure you bang the drive side where the alternator sits for clearance....google..

make sure you have mount to b-series in EF.

pretty much it... i think. no sequence of i can think of.... do as u like. as long as motor is out and new goes in..first is to take battery out....and dis connect all wiring.

last on motor swap when putting motor in is wiring. as i did.... do what ever you like..

hey, I'm putting a b18a1 into my 89 CRX HF this spring and I was trying to figure out what I all needed. I am still a little confused on the axles and knuckles. I have heard I need to replace mine since I have a HF. I do have a 93 Integra as a parts car with axles from it. Can anyone give me the low down on exactly what I need to get and what parts I should we using?

 

on an ef i cannot use the stock DA mounts? and would the SI harness, would it plug up right into the b18 and in the chassies?
