it's not that koni/gc is the second coming of Christ. it's just that they provide a LOT of suspension for the money. you get

1. any spring rate you want
2. an adjustable shock that works
3. lifetime warranty
4. quality construction that will last 100k+ miles

most of the south china sea coilovers do not have the ability to dampen like the koni sport and they sure do not have the quality construction. they are just pretty looking with stiff springs

i think it depnds on wat ur looking for. koni is probably better for performance but ksport/megan is not bad either. the stories u hear about them blowing are overblown. gotta consider installation too; poor installation will blow coils too.

k-sport and megan are the same coilovers. i know a lot of people that have them on their 240's and track them with no problems.
