well im going to go pick up a hood for my civic, but the thing is i dont have a pick up to put the hood on. so what i was going to do is drive over to the place with no hood and just install it there. But is it illegal to have no hood on the car while drive on the road?

i am not sure...but im sure if you had any problems, you could just explain the situation and get out of it...how far is the drive?

Ive drivin around with no hood with my s2000 and had a open down pipe and didnt get bothered by a single cop...

 

i was in the same situation as you... i was going to pick up a new CF hood and didnt want to drive there with out one. soooo what i did was sold my friend my old CF hood and had him fallow me for about an hour drive with out his hood. lol he didnt get botherd at all and the drive was a bit farther then yours. i would say you dont have anything to worry about.

i rocked one a my tegs without a hood for about a week while i was waitin for my cf hood an never got bothered by police... but then again i live in sodak an you can get away with just about anything lol

 

I see old school muscle cars do it all the time. But why not just rent a hitch from home depot I "think" it may be cheep. I mean renting it for about an hour and a half is cheaper then a ticket.....I think. Well gl.

eh id still cruise with out the hood. its easier... and ive seen it done many times before.

 

That Risky Devil 180sx drives around without a hood all the time, if he doesn't get **** for it, I doubt you will. That thing is kinda hard to miss.
