I bought a custom built roll bar for my del sol with the intention of just selling it and making more money. But then i picked up a set of takata harnesses and decided i needed to make the roll bar work as a harness bar as well. my question is what is the best way to mount the harnesses to the bar and ive heard you are suposed to wrap them a special way but i have no clue how. i have 0 experience with this type of thing. oh yea and the cars going to be street driven and occasionally track driven. this is the roll bar

Try asking in the road racing / autocross forum.

The cross bar, if at the right height, could be used to mount a harness.

That said, a 4 point harness is generally designed for a car using factory seats and no rollbar. Since you have a bar, why not do it right and run a proper seat and 5/6/7 point harness?

 

wasnt really looking to get that serious with it i mean i dont plan on wrecking it haha but then again who does.
