I'm not sure about the effects of it yet, just know that your car won't go noticeably faster.

From what I have heard they are good if properly tuned. I don't think they are bad for your car.

They are good if you know what you are doing with it.

First.. punctuation is your friend.

Second, on a lightly modded car, especially one with stock cams, I don't think you will see any benefit from a VTEC controller (I could be wrong on this though). However, most controllers, like the V-AFC, also let you change your air/fuel ratio, which is always useful. Just make sure you get it dyno tuned or you could do more harm than good.

man lemme tell you this.. from what i have seen from numbers of different cars dyno its really not that good from a chipped out ecu.. cause the micochips inside cant process the information that fast.. so when infomation comes in it cant really send it out that fast eather.. think about it look how small the wires are to accept all that eletro currents there too small. and when you put the vafc on your car its make the car run rich alreaddy without any tunning.. i just found this out too and i really dont want to belive it cause i have a vafc too but now that i seen the facts on the dyno i really dont know what too say.. there more things about it that makes me feel like i wasted my money but its everybody own feelings about this.. most of my friends didnt belive me at first but when they went to see the results they was sick to find out they been owned. well thats my 2cents take it in or say something about me...

i have an Rspec controller (no AFC) and IMO its not worth ****, but it does look good and i like the digital tach and auto stopwatch, i'm dynoing my car in a few weeks, so i'll play around with the vtec x-over point and see if there are any real benifits lowering it but i dont really think so. Saying that i dont think it does any harm, but i've only ever dropped the x-over point by 400rpm to 4000rpm, and i've raised it a few times to 5k, where there is a very noticeable kick when the vtec comes in that late (4400rpm stock)
