okay so sometimes when i'm hitting the gas, my car doesnt want to go. the car like shutters and shakes, if i hit the gas HARD enough the car jerks and goes, like its starving for gas.

i drive a 1994 honda accord LX
2.2 L
i use the highest octane gas. which makes the car perform better.
can someone help me? thanks

 

and i also wanted to add that occasionly when im going down the highway at like 50 mph, the car studders for like 10 seconds, then stops.

 

try cleaning the egr ports inside the large rectangular plate under the fuel rail. mine was so corroded and full of carbon it was completely clogged. It fixed my car and it had almost the same problem. Theres a page with step by step tutorial.
