Today i Was looking under the hood and i noticed that This Hose Doesnt go Anywhere...(First Pic) Its just open. Do you know that it goes to or if its important? Please help,,

Also In the Second Picture ... What is This Device Thing? It has a Electrical Wire Plugged Into It and some hoses running off of it and some or i think 1 hose is not plugged into anything. it just lays There and The Whole Thing just flopping loose in the engine bay. where the Intake is.. Could Someone Enlighten me on what this and the first picture is. I would really Apperciate it.

1st, PCV breather hose. Connects to valve cover.

2nd, Looks like engine mount control solenoid valve.

 

Whoa What is a Engine Mount Solenoid Valve. Is it Important? and is it bad if one of the hoses connected to this Solenoid Valve Goes nowhere?

They are hollow hoses with nothing in them i dont think

 

Do you have an aftermarket intake tube? (short ram or cold air intake) It looks as though someone just left everything behind after they removed the stock intake tube. That black thing with the hoses coming out of it looks to be the intake air resonator control solenoid. It was used in the stock intake system to help eliminate/reduce noise coming from the intake tube.
