Default timing belt tensioner nut stripped

with the motor in the car I tried to do my friends timing, but his belt tensioner is stripped out what should I do.

Try using an appropriate sized socket that is designed to grab stripped bolts.

A company named ''Irwin'' makes some good sockets for this or just go to the parts store and look around.. It should work

while you are trying to do that, order a replacement bolt from Honda.

if you can't get one of these sockets on it, you may have to use a pair of vice grips to get it loosened and out.
