h22 alternator
Ok. I'm sure a few of you may have peeked into a thread or two of mine with my h22 swap.... My next obstacle is the alternator. It will not fit because of the headlight bucket. Any ideas besides a relocator kit? And who has an affordable relocator or where can I get a print to make my own? I'm a machinist so it shouldn't be a problam making one. Thanks
When I did mine the only way to get it to fit was to use a relocator. I got mine from explicitspeedperformance.net. He also makes them to let you use a d series alternator on the h22 since its a smaller alternator.
Just remove some of the bucket, which is what I did. You don't need all of the metal there.
However! If you are not going to run a/c on your car (I am) then it would be smart to get a relocater.
