Default Tuning exhaust?

I have the Invidia exhaust (for a hatch) on my sedan and it sounds great most of the time. The problem is it is really loud between 3 and 4K rpm which is my highway cruising speed.... since I spend an hour + each day doing freeway driving I was wondering if there is a way to tune the exhaust some way to lessen the sound in that range?
Since it is for a hatch is doesn't fit the greatest (starting to melt part of my bumper) I was planning on modifying it to fit better.... maybe extending the piping will change something?

Does anyone make exhaust for a sedan specifically?

adding a resonator will shut her up, sometimes it takes more than one.

When picking a resignator make sure the inner Diameter of the resi is a little bit greater then your piping. I did mine on the tip of my exhaust and it is quite until Higher RPM's.

Yes adding or changing resonators will help, I've always liked using a race muffler like a glass pack as one myself. They only last a year or so though.
