Default Head gasket???

This morning I tried to start my car but it wouldnt fire so I checked the plugs and found a large quantity of oil in the fourth cylinder. Ive been losing large quantities of oil for a few weeks now. Would this be the head gasket or the valve cover gasket?

Thanks in advance

if you had a blown head gasket, you be seeing white milky substance on the oil cap and dipstick, similar to this:

do u see any leaks?? start by replacing the vc gasket set. If your still burning oil get a compression check done. and how many miles on the engine? could be bad valve seals or even piston rings

I had this problem, the seals that I got were cheap. Check the 4 seals for the spark plug tubes, most likely the problem.

if there is no spark that is where you problem exsist. even if there were still oil in plugs vehicle will still start. more then likely it is youre ign coil. but do youre checks, as far as oil leak replace valce cover gasket first and recheck. youll know if youre headgasket is leaking.milky oil miss fires. etc
