so i was in the market for an AP1 since i cant afford an AP2 when i came acros an 04 AP2 black on black with 100k miles. clean title good condition inside and out good top. they want 9,995. has a clean title... wtf??? sounds too good to be true?

anyone have any input on this? its about 200 miles away so i want as much feedback as possible before i take a day out of work to see it.

ill obviously need to take a very close look at it. but i was wondering if anyone can chime in with some "look out for this" kinda stuff. the title is clean but it doesnt mean it hasnt been crashed u know what i mean? ill have a carfax tomarrow night for it but if im gonna drive down there 200 miles ill want to buy it then, not come back a second time so i need to get all my info straight now.

Doesnt sound all that great. I good deal, yes....but nothing thats too much of a scam. It does have 100k after all. Eventually s2ks will turn into something like the Integra where there is almost no price difference between the years. Difference between a 94-97? None. 97-99? None. There still some difference in say a 94 and 01, but its getting slim.

It doesn't book to far off of what they are asking. I would just take a good look at it and take it for a nice long test drive.

 

Would rather have a lower mileage AP1 for the same price.

 

It's hard times right now for some people. Around here in the OC, there was a guy looking to sell his 04 for 14k, three weeks later, he was looking to sell it for 12k, another couple of weeks, 10k. People have bills and some people are unemployed

 

Yeah 100k miles is too much man you can get an Ap1 with alot less miles for about the same.

 

Ap2 and Ap1's are different animals, when it comes to price the ap2 is always more expensive

im nto too worried about mileage... its just this is the only AP2 ive ever seen for under 15k and i want to jump on it but im trying to be causious

 

I say if it's worth it get it. Hell no one really knows how these things respond to high miles anway. If it's been taken car of then I wouldn't be to worried. Have them pull up a car fax or do it yourself.

 

Wow the value on the S2000 went down alot. When I bought my 02 a few months ago it valued at $17,000 with 72K miles on it and now its $13,650

 

carfax says clean title, scattered maintenance history... and 3 accidents lol.... one front one side and one rear....


buying this would require a THOUROUGH inspection of the under carraige lol.... one accident was just this may... then they sell the car a few months later... so the plot thickens.....
