the part where the bolt goes into the chassis at the most inner hole of the lca is stripped. what do i do?this is my daily driver and only car.

 

get yourself a tap and die set and try to rethread the thing

 

this is a good quick fix but I would not drive on this for very long. The threads are weak and running a tap through it weakens it even more. When you have a more time to fix it go to your local hardware store with the bolt and look for a nut, cut the old nut off and get somone to weld the new one in place. Thats how I would do it but you should get a few other opinions first.

cut the old nut off but the new one does not have to be welded on, its just welded on to probably make the assembly easier and cheaper on the production line.

 

true.i just got a new one and broke the welds off of the old one.thanks
