JIC Magic SF-1 Coilovers
Anyone ever heard of these or had any experience with them? From what I've read, the rates are 8k/5k with no adjustable damping. It seems as though they were JIC's entry level coilover and I believe they're discontinued. Someone on ebay is selling them for $640, which seems like a pretty good deal, so any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
Koni/GC is most likely the way I'll go, but I want to try something different if I can. Everyone uses this setup, so if I can get something that performs just as well for around the same price, I'd rather do that. The JIC's are actually new, I believe their NOS. My major concerns are reliability and performance, not so much the ability to dial in everything since I don't track my car. I know everyone says go with koni/gc, but that's the issue, EVERYONE runs them. I'd like to be a little different as long as perfomance isn't effected.
performance will be effected. did you ever consider there is a reason the majority of guys on the track are on the koni/gc setup? {myself included}
if you must have something else try a PIC apex or select
