i am building a d16z6 for 400whp and trying to figure out what clutch to use. I have been looking at a competition stage 5 four puck clutch.. And clutch masters also has a pretty good deal on there stage 5 clutch. Just wondering what you guys are using or suggest. Thanks

 

my neighbors 375hp vitara/fjt setup is using an xtd stage 3, 6 puck sprung, an grips perfect... almost 2 years now..

 

i have had my share of xtd clutches. I have had zero problems with them ob cable trannys never had one peform correctly on a hydro. Thanks for your input though

sounds like over kill to me.

exedy stage 3 would work.
