I'm curious how this motor is configured. The early reviews say that it has low end and high end power, a retuned(yet again) 3.7 Got to see if this new 6 speed auto is all the hype...

Great. A Prius and a TL took turns raping a Murano, and this is the bastard offspring...

The five speed auto connected to the TL SH-AWD is durable, and that's probably why it's in there...but the six speed should take care of the one issue w/the five speed, namely that the gears in the five speed are too widely spaced.

When you're driving the TL SH-AWD, you find yourself wishing for a manual, and the wide spaced gears is probably the biggest reason for that.

Interesting.
They claim that the new 6speed will eventually be adopted to the TL/RL/MDX.
It better not disappoint; then again, this is the new Acura that is breaking away from papa Honda right?

I'm sure that the new high strenth auto-6 will find its way into all of the V6 cars. I don't think it'll be in the TL until 2011, however.
