Alarm possesed...
For the past week Ive been noticing very strage behaviour from my alarm. It will sound a warning, when there was no reason for one, no trucks or cars passing, no one hitting it or touching it. And just recently I noticed that the remote start tried to engage its self !! I did not setup any timed remote starts, and this did not happen at the same time. For some reason these things happen only in the morning time, around 7-9 am. I though about someone elses alarm, conflicting with mine, but dont these units come with a million different codes as well as code rolling and anti-learning technology ? If anyone has ever had stuff like this happen to them, please come fourth. Oh, btw, I just remembered that a similar thing happened to my old El Cheapo autozone alarm. It would arm its self, or go in to panic mode while I was driving. Mind you this was a different car, the only pieces that made it to this car from the old after the wreck is the dash, and engine harness.
Someone shed some light on this.

The guy was very professional, so Im sure the problem lays in my battery connections and grounds. A few months ago, I had my main ground wire turn redhot and desintegrate before my eyes. Lucky it didnt start a fire. I never really figured out what caused it to do that, except maybe it being so old tha it snapped, and no longer grounded the battery to the block. Does anyone have any wild guesses as to why the alarm only acts up in the early morning ? Sudden temp change ? Moisture ? Im clueless...
**** my Python 1000esp has been acting up for a couple weeks now. Its so annoying. Sometimes when I lock the doors with the remote, you can hear that it tries to lock it again and again when the damn this is already locked. WTF? So annoying. I have it set so that when I get in the car the doors lock automatically (g/f wanted) but when it does that, sometimes it just keeps locking. I HATE IT!! But I also hate taking my car in because i have to tell the dude all kinds of **** to get it going....
I would take it in before you burn a door lock motor/solenoid... after about 5 years of normal use.. one of my doorlock motors died (it would try to budge/lock the door but didn't have enough power to fully lock it) and the motor alone cost about $75 however the labor involved in replacing the door lock motor/solenoid is crazy... I'd get that alarm/door lock fixed ASAP before u kill the door lock motor
