I was told the JDM Prelude auto engine have a all in one OB1 ECU for the auto tranny. Is this true? I thought that the TCM on OB1 was separate for US and JDM models. Any suggestions. The H22 swap is going to have a ecu with and again I was told a ECU not 2 ecus. Where can I get a cut pigtail off of a TCM any way? I was going to construct a harness off of the OB1 man. jumper. I don't have any junk yard cars to cut from right now for the TCM.

 

The TCM is not incorporated into the OBD1 Auto H22a P13 ecu. You need the TCM for it. THe proper TCM is the P19, but others have used the accord TCM which is a P15.

Are you converting to OBD1 from OBD2?

 

I have a 97 accord se auto. I'm about to purchase my swap but am still in the process of choosing. I'd like to stick with OB2 but finding one has been the problem.

 

If you convert from OBD2 to OBD1 and stay auto, you will need the automatic conversion harness. I sell them and they are far from the same as the 5 speed ones. The provisions are on there for the TCM.

 

I believe the H22a auto might be a OB2, because the picture has the map on the throttle body. Then he claims the computer is all in one for the auto. That tells me OB2 they just list it as OB1. My hope is its a 96. I know the US has a imoblizer for the 97-01. Does this hold true with JDM. I'm also going to call this person tomorrow.
